      Honoring age old weaving traditions, our Columbia Handwoven Rug is artisan made from soft and durable organic wool. The subtle color combinations are versatile enough to blend with any decor. We love the detail of the tassel fringe - but you can order your rug without it.

      • Ultra soft 100% organic wool flatweave rug
      • Available with or without fringe
      • Lightweight and durable
      • As this is a low profile, flatweave style, we recommend using with a non-slip underlay to prevent any unwanted buckling and movement
      • Dyed in small batches with natural GOTS approved organic dyes; slight color variations are inherent with natural dyes

      • COTTON RUGS

        While cotton is a strong fiber, our cotton is not treated with stain protectors and may not react well to spills.

        • Vacuum regularly using longer strikes to avoid too much back and forth motion. DO NOT use a beater brush
        • Attend to spills immediately using a clean white cloth to blot excess moisture
        • Spot clean with an all natural carpet cleaner or natural, clear soap
        • If you use water, it must be distilled water (the less water, the better)
        • Remove any dry or solid matter by scraping excess away with a spoon. Do not rub
        • Clip, do not pull, any loose fibers
        • Rotate every 3 months for even wear
        • For tough stains, use a professional cleaner who specializes in rugs
        • Professionally clean regularly

         

        WOOL RUGS

        Wool is naturally stain and soil resistant and will stand up well in any living space.

        • Vacuum regularly using longer strikes to avoid too much back and forth motion. DO NOT use a beater brush

        Flatweave rugs are made by hand without a "pile".

        Flatweave rugs are woven on a horizontal or a vertical loom by threading cotton or wool through the warp.

        All of our rugs are GOTS certified organic - made from natural materials with no harmful chemicals, and certified free of illegal Child Labor by GoodWeave.

        Flatweave rugs are available in 100% organic cotton, 100% organic wool or a combination of 100% organic wool + 100% organic cotton.
